Important notes from Dr. Amber

Hi everyone! Today’s newsletter, is going to be a little different format, as it is coming directly from me (Dr. Amber)

First of all, I have not taken much time to discuss with you all, about Shockwave Therapy (the device you may have seen added to my adjusting room), so I wanted to take a moment to explain a bit more about it.

I first introduced Shockwave Therapy to our office last fall, after I began experiencing hip issues while training for a half marathon. I received a few treatments myself and found them very helpful. My hip pain diminished and I was able to complete my race. Because there weren’t many places in the Cedar Valley offering this type of therapy, I knew I wanted to bring it here to Align Chiropractic & Wellness to help all of you, the same way it helped me.

What is Shockwave Therapy?

It’s a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate blood flow, break down scar tissue, and speed your body’s healing process.

It’s effective for chronic issues like plantar fasciitis, tennis or golfer’s elbow, shoulder pain, hip pain, carpal tunnel, and stubborn tendon problems that haven’t responded well to other treatments.

👉 Most people describe it as feeling like a quick “tapping” sensation,  and many notice results in just a few sessions.

At our office, I’m always looking for ways to better help each of you. The more tools we have in our “tool belt,” the more ways we can help each of you feel and function your best. Everyone’s body responds differently to care, and my goal is always to meet you where you are and find the individual approach that works best for you.

Many of you are wellness patients; coming in every 4–6 weeks to stay feeling your best. Of course, life happens; stress, changes in sleep or sleep position, changes in posture, changes in daily activity, or exercise routines, and flare-ups can occur. Our goal is to keep your body in alignment so it can function optimally. That doesn’t just mean less neck or back pain; it often means better sleep, less stress, improved mobility, and even better immune function.

It’s very important to me that my team and I are always approachable. If there’s ever anything you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Knowing each of our patients on a personal level is something that we value.

We currently have openings Wednesday and Thursday this week, or Monday through Friday next week if you’d like to get on our schedule.

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your health. Our team is always here to help you feel your best!,
